Studio MTK is a full service interior design and decoration firm rooted in the natural beauty and laid-back lifestyle of Montauk, New York. Founded by Sara & Steffen Ringelmann, whose California roots and lifelong connection to the ocean uniquely inform their creative process, Studio MTK’s aim is twofold:

  1. to craft distinctive, inviting vacation homes deeply attuned to our clients’ aspirations and ideals

  2. to add value for our clients through smart, creative and cost-effective design

Prioritizing lasting impact over passing trends, our unique aesthetic blends worldly influences and 20th-century art and design movements with timeless, natural materials and textures drawn from the surrounding landscape. Our projects embody a new vision for coastal living well beyond clichéd seashells and stripes, and more intentionally tied to the relaxed rhythm of life on the coast.
